Leonard Nimoy, el señor Spock en la serie Viaje a las estrellas, falleció a la edad de 83 años. Live long and prosper es lo primero que se me vino a la cabeza cuando leí de su muerte.
Cuando era niño y veía aquella serie, Spock era mi personaje favorito; y he aquí mis cinco citas favoritas de él:
- Fascinating is a word I use for the unexpected, in this case I would think interesting would suffice.
- In critical moments men sometimes see exactly what they wish to see.
- Loss of life is to be mourned, but only if the life was wasted.
- This troubled planet is a place of the most violent contrasts. Those who receive the rewards are totally separated from those who shoulder the burdens. It is not a wise leadership.
- On my planet, “to rest” is to rest, to cease using energy. To me it is quite illogical to run up and down on green grass using energy instead of saving it.
